Therapeutic Sessions
Counselling sessions are for 50 minutes and can be booked on an individual or block basis.
Other therapies have various times and will be advised on request.
Fees
All fees are payable in advance of the session.
Cancellations without giving 24 hours’ notice prior to the appointment will incur the same charge as an attended session.
£50/hour - Individual or 1:1 Counselling is for clients who would like to explore issues that are concerning them such as from their past and/or present, low self-esteem, feeling depressed, stressed, worried, anger problems, sexual abuse, difficulties coping with life’s events such as bereavement, loss of job, health problems etc. it’s also effective in tackling relationship issues you have with anyone including partner, parents, children and work colleagues.
Individual counselling can involve a range of methods alongside talking therapy, utilizing tools such as drawing, thought pattern identification and other creative methods that may suit you as an individual.
£75/hour - Couples counselling is for couples experiencing an issue(s) in their relationship no matter how trivial and would like a neutral impartial person to talk this through with. Couples counselling is undertaken with each other and also alone to give the opportunity for you to discuss confidentially things from your perspective without the other person present. Each has their own take on things and this can mean there is little or no compromise to move the relationship forward. Relationships can be hard work and sometimes catching issues early on can avoid things become too overwhelming for all concerned.
Couples counselling can transform the relationship and assist in reducing some of the stress and anxiety that may be being felt. Work can be undertaken on a specific problem or be of a more generic nature.
In couples counselling a range of methods can be utilized like drawing, thought pattern identification and other creative methods that may suit the couple as well as the individual.
Couples counselling is suitable for all couple e.g. civil marriage, civil unions, common law marriages etc.
£50/hour - Zoom/Skype counselling is the same as Individual or 1:1 Counselling and may suit clients who are unable to attend face to face sessions or would prefer to have an internet based counselling session. We would still explore the same issues that are covered in Individual or 1:1 Counselling and a range of methods are still applied such as drawing, thought pattern identification and other creative methods that may suit you as an individual.

Price available on request - Group Counselling is a way of learn techniques to assist in changing your thoughts, beliefs and behaviour that are having a negative impact on your life. Group counselling can make major changes to how you see your life and the world around you. It is aimed at helping people to cope with their issues and progress their journey of recovery, whether they speak or not as listening to others can inspire an individual to action.
Being in a group allows you to see that what you may be going through isn’t dissimilar to others experiencing the same types of symptoms. You have the opportunity to listen to others and provide other group members with feedback and your experience in a confidential and non-judgmental environment. Interacting with each other allows for an increased understanding in what you are experiencing and things that are of concern. The group setting can show that you are not alone in the way you think. It can provide an opportunity for personal experimentation, where you can take risks that assist in you learning more about yourself. You will also form part of a supportive network to help you make the desired changes to your life.
The groups are usually small with an average of 6-8 people involved but can be larger depending on requirements. They are good for dealing with e.g. Psychological issues such as low self-esteem, confidence and focusing on what can be done in the here and now. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for dealing with areas such as anxiety and depression, and can utilize a range of methods like drawing, thought pattern identification and other creative methods.
